Weekly Newsletter-This weekly newsletter will be posted on the school web site and sent home on the first day of the school week with your child. The top for the newsletter will contain basic school reminders. The bottom portion of the newsletter will contain daily homework.
Special Classes-First grade has special classes on the following days:
Monday-Library/Computer
Tuesday-Spanish
Wednesday-Art
Thursday-Music/Gym
Blessed Mother’s Birthday-We will be decorating and eating cookies on Thursday to remember the Blessed Mother’s Birthday.
Weekly Spelling List-cab, mad, had, bag, jam, ran, van, lap, pat, sat. Dictation test on Friday.
HOMEWORK
Tuesday-
Spelling-Write words 2X each in blue duck copybook.
Math-Standards Practice pages 3-4.
Wednesday-Wear gym clothes for class on Thursday.
Reading-Parents, read sight word list with your child. Mark a check next to each word your child know immediately on sight.
Spelling-Study spelling words for test on Friday.
Thursday-Library book may be returned for class on Monday.
